MIP stands for “Male Involvement Project.” We are an off-shoot clinic of the Adolescent Drop-In Clinic at Covenant House located at 611 North Rampart Street New Orleans, LA 70112. We work with the Office of Family Planning to provide free and low cost STD testing, treatment, education and pregnancy prevention education to males between the ages of 14 and 23. Clinic is on Tuesday nights from 5pm to 9pm at the Tulane Community Health Clinic at Covenant House.
We at MIP believe young men should have resources available to prevent unintended pregnancies and the transmission of sexually transmitted infections. These resources should be easy to obtain, low cost, convenient and relevant. We strive to provide such resources through our educational and clinic offerings.
